“Does the unit give off a lot of heat from the exhaust? I used to own a Kenmore unit I think similar size. However, it gave off a lot of heat which when using in the summer, not ideal. Just curious.”

Yes it does put off a lot of heat.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the 50pt version. I use it upstairs and the ambient temp is increased by 15-20 degrees depending on how much humidity it has to remove. I run the window AC along with it to keep it about 77 in an 850sqft room. Last night was 57 degrees and the dehumidifier put out enough heat to make the AC kick on quite a few times.
