QuestionThe product description mentions a washable pre-filter. How do I access this filter and clean itt?

- Answer The bigger complaint I have though is the lack of a washable pre-filter. There's only one filter assembly in this unit and while it looks like it does have a pre-filter, it's not removable. What makes this really puzzling though is in the user guide under the list of features it clearly states: "Washable pre-filter removes large irritants such as hair and dander". Then further into the guide it states: "CAUTION: - Never wash the air filters." I get that you can't wash the main filter, that makes sense, but no further mention of this "washable pre-filter" anywhere else in the guide or that one is actually included. At least you can still technically pull the filter out and vacuum off any large hair/debris so it's not a deal breaker.

QuestionI'm looking at purchasing a couple of these purifiers, but the filter is out of stock. Does anyone know if this is an ongoing thing? I'm worried that they're discontinuing it.

- Answer I can't find replacement filters from any source. Beware the measurements shown in the Best buy website are incorrect. The original filter is 11.75 inches high and 8.9 inches in diameter. - Answer HEPA filters are more than good enough for respiratory pandemics. This is because viruses are usually found on larger air particles a few microns across, not floating by themselves in the air.

QuestionWhat can I do about an E1 error? I have unplugged and plugged in several times and in different outlets. There is no alert flasher to indicate a filter change is needed. The filter does not look dirty. The unit just won't turn on. Help!
