QuestionOk, so I need an external antenna for over-the-air channels. My daughter is sending me a fire stick that she's not using. Will it be a good choice? Or should I get an antenna that is JUST an antenna?
- Answer Yes, you need an antenna to watch over-the-air broadcasts from local channels. You don't need a Fire TV Stick because this TV has the Fire OS already built-in.
QuestionWhat is the actual width including the stand? I can't go over 35 inches. Can the Stand be reversed to save space if needed?

QuestionCan this tv be use with a hdtv atenna if I don’t have cable
- Answer yes but don't go out searching for an HDTV antenna.....The HD part is in the tuner of your tv. Remember when the signal changed and all the old tvs had to get a converter. All over the air signals are broadcast in HD....HD antenna is basically a deception....If you're within decent range a $50 antenna from Walmart will bring in pictures better than any cable signal. I assure you.
QuestionIs this a smart tv? Will I be able to watch Netflix etc?

QuestionCan I download spectrum app on this tv to stream or do I need a roku tv
- Answer Spectrum has an Android app and this being an android operating system there should be no issues downloading that app. I would not chose a Roku tv over this tv. I would not chose a Roku device over a Firestick either. It's like apples and oranges when it comes to available content. I say this because I own several of both devices. Hope this helped.
QuestionI have Xfinity. When I turn on the TV, I have to select the HDMI port in order to watch cable. I find this to be annoying. Is there a way to have my cable provider be the default (instead of the TV home page) when I turn on the TV? Considering returning.
- Answer Try the Power On feature, when enabled, the TV turns on displaying the last used input. To activate it, go Home > Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On and select Last Input.
QuestionDoes the TV come with an HDMI cable or is that to be purchased separately?
- Answer No, this TV doesn't come with an HDMI cable in the box.
QuestionCan I use a cable hookup with this tv to bring in channels as opposed to an antenna?
- Answer You can connect a Cable Box to the TV using an HDMI cable.
QuestionDoes the built-in fire feature mean that the TV receives over-the-air channels as-is? Or do I need an external antenna or external fire stick for over-the-air channels?
- Answer You need an over the air antenna to pick up major networks etc. at no cost. You need cable to watch paid programming. This tv is in essence a giant firestick with it's own screen. Adding an external stick doesn't help you in any way. You would just be duplicating what you have. All programming is via an app. Keep in mind and do your research and you can find anything you want to watch at no cost on an app. Hope this helped
