  • QuestionOn the rinse cycle it just keep spinning until last couple of minutes then it keeps spinning slowly and water comes in from the top but it never fills with water and agitated. Is this normal? I have a NS-TWM41WH8A MODEL.

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer It sounds like your Insignia NS-TWM41WH8A washer might be experiencing an issue. During the rinse cycle, the washer should fill with water and agitate to rinse the clothes properly. Here are a few potential causes and solutions: 1. Clogged Water Inlet Filters: The filters in the water inlet hoses might be clogged, restricting water flow. You can clean these filters by turning off the water supply, disconnecting the hoses, and cleaning the filters inside the hose connections. 2. Faulty Water Inlet Valve: If the water inlet valve is malfunctioning, it might not be allowing enough water to enter the washer. This part may need to be tested and replaced if faulty. 3. Pressure Sensor Issue: The pressure sensor, which detects the water level, might be faulty. If it fails, the washer might not fill correctly. This component may need to be checked and replaced if necessary. 4. Control Board Problem: There could be an issue with the control board not sending the correct signals to fill the washer during the rinse cycle. This would require professional diagnosis and repair. If you're comfortable with DIY repairs, you can try checking and cleaning the water inlet filters first. For more complex issues like the water inlet valve, pressure sensor, or control board, it might be best to contact a professional technician.

  • QuestionWhat do I do if I get an E5 error & it stops spinning, on a 1 yr old machine?

    Asked by LaverneD.

    • Answer Hi Lanada! We apologize to hear about the E5 error and the spinning issue with your Insignia™ 4.1 Cu. Ft. High Efficiency Top Load Washer. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue: 1. Check the Load: Ensure the load is balanced. Unevenly distributed laundry can cause the washer to stop spinning. 2. Reduce the load size and redistribute the items. 3. Inspect the Drain Hose: Make sure the drain hose isn't kinked or blocked. Clear any obstructions and ensure proper drainage. 4. Verify Water Supply: Check the water supply valves to ensure they are fully open. 5. Verify that the water pressure is adequate. If these steps don't resolve the issue, we recommend contacting our Insignia customer support team (877-467-4289) directly. They can provide more specific troubleshooting advice or arrange for a technician to diagnose and repair the problem. We hope this information is helpful. - Mae | Insignia Support | https://www.bestbuy.com/site/brands/best-buy-brands/pcmcat1596746025285.c?id=pcmcat1596746025285

  • QuestionAll my breakers are 20amp if I plug it it,will that trip the breakers ?or I need to change to 30amps breakers?

    Asked by Kizazagor.

    • Answer The Insignia™ 4.1 Cu. Ft. High Efficiency Top Load Washer typically requires a standard 120V, 15-20 amp circuit. Since your breakers are already 20 amps, you should be fine using this washer without tripping the breakers. However, it's important to ensure that the washer is the only major appliance on that circuit to avoid overloading it. If you have multiple high-power devices on the same circuit, it could potentially cause issues. You don't need to change to 30-amp breakers, as that would require rewiring and could pose safety risks if not done correctly. If you have any concerns, it's always a good idea to consult with a licensed electrician. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. • QuestionI have the insignia top load washer. It's just a few months old and I have been starting to smell an electrical smell after about 2-3 loads. And it seems to be a little noiser than my last washer. Any Ideas?

    Asked by Buggerz.

    • Answer Thank you for reaching out and I’m sorry to hear about the issues with your Insignia top load washer. Here are a few steps you can take to address the electrical smell and noise: 1. Check for Overloading: Ensure that you are not overloading the washer. Overloading can cause the motor to overheat, leading to an electrical smell and increased noise. 2. Inspect the Power Cord and Outlet: Make sure the power cord is not damaged and that the outlet is functioning properly. A faulty connection can cause electrical smells. 3.Clean the Washer: Sometimes, lint or debris can accumulate around the motor or other components, causing overheating. Make sure to clean the washer regularly. 4. Balance the Load: Uneven loads can cause the washer to become noisy. Try to distribute clothes evenly around the drum. 5. Check for Loose Parts: Inspect the washer for any loose parts or screws that might be causing the noise. 6. Professional Inspection: If the smell and noise persist, it might be best to schedule a professional inspection. There could be an issue with the motor or other internal components that requires expert attention. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. • QuestionOn my insignia washer when you turn it on by default it's on normal wash and the water temperature is hot my question is can you change that default setting to where when you push power The water temperature is on tap cold?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Unfortunately, the Insignia™ 4.1 Cu. Ft. High Efficiency Top Load Washer does not have a built-in feature to change the default settings when you turn it on12. The washer defaults to the “Normal” cycle with “Hot” water temperature each time it is powered on. However, you can manually adjust the settings each time you start a new load: 1. Turn on the Washer: Press the Power button. 2. Select the Desired Cycle: Turn the cycle selector to choose your preferred wash cycle. 3. Adjust the Water Temperature: Press the Temp button to select “Tap Cold.” If you find this process inconvenient, you might consider leaving a note or reminder near the washer to adjust the settings each time you use it.
