“How well does this keep food? I was wondering if you folks who already bought this can tell me: does it keep frozen foods TRULY frozen? Is it able to freeze foods that aren't already frozen? (I like to cook in batches, and freeze it for later...) Lastly, does it keep fresh foods really cold, or just cool enough? Thanks!”

This fridge has a setting of up to 7. When I first started using it, I put the setting at 6. I figured that would keep my stuff cold enough. I was wrong and very surprised because it was freezing the pop inside the fridge alone. I dropped it down to 5 and still too cold until I set it on 3 which works perfect for my use....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've had this for a couple weeks now. There is only one temperature adjustment that applies to both the fridge and freezer. I'm still fiddling with the correct setting, but I have frozen some drinks in the fridge and could still make it colder. Although it does seem to depend what shelf it's on, as certain sections get colder than others. But yes, you can keep things really cold. And yes, everything I've had in the freezer has stayed frozen. I haven't tried freezing something that already isn't, though.
