The unit weighs about 68 pounds and has a base dimension of about 20" by 20". I would NOT put it on a shelf with those characteristics. Because of it's height of 43", the weight and distribution of the food inside could cause it to become top heavy and opening the freezer door could cause it to tip. If you really need something that goes on a shelf get a somewhat shorter one. In general, I would not recommend putting any refrigerator on a shelf.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I didn't weigh the mini fridge. My guesstimate would be 25-30lbs empty. Personally, i wouldn't recommend putting it up on a shelf unless you brace the mini fridge first. Just my two cents opinion.
