• This works well on my Alienware laptop (which dell owns) so i would say there has been no compromised data or transfer speed on my laptop. I had a external DVD drive hooked up via this hub, and my DVD and other data seemed ok. hope this helps oh yeah and my system has windows 10 as well.

• Yes, it will. Also works well on laptops running older operating systems. (I often have both running for work.)
