“Does this TV have an "on timer"?”

• My friend bought this TV and I searched the menu and there is no "POWER ON" function whatsoever. All the people who answered yes, are probably thinking Sleep Timer. Yes there is a sleep timer, no question about it. I need a TV that will turn on in the morning for example at 6 am. Not going to happen with this TV. Great TV otherwise.

• I have downloaded the User Manual and Specifications, and have read it from top to bottom. I cannot find anywhere on the User Manual where it states that this TV has an "power on timer." It does have a Sleep Timer which is NOT the same (as stated in a previous answer to this question). I cannot find anywhere the manual on how to program the TV to automatically power on at a preset time and day. On the specs page it does again mention the Sleep Timer, but nothing about an "on timer."

• An "on timer" a.k.a. "sleep timer" function is present. You can tap the button with the "moon" icon on it repeatedly to chose the length of time the TV remain on before shutting off.
