- Answer Yes; the front legs actually sit a little wider than the back, but they are right at 29" on their outside edges

- Answer No, using the phone jack stops the speakers. I recommend Bluetooth adapter for TV if you have Bluetooth headphones.

- Answer The Insignia 40" I have is hooked up OTA and I had a Sony 32" dumb TV before. I'd say that the Insignia has about the same amount of info as the Sony did. The info window is bigger so it's easier to read.

- Answer Yes it does. All the HDCP discs I have used through my computer with an HDMI cable will play just fine. And the DVD ripped files (copies of my owned original DVD's of course!) play just fine too, although they are limited to 720p through my HDMI port on a 10 year old Dell laptop, and they look great!
