It does interfere with the doors on the wall side. I have mine installed next to a wall in a recessed bar and it’s tough to get the left side fully open. For this unit to work best, the doors need clearance from the built in situation.

It can be installed built-in, but these doors need to open a full 180 degrees to extract the outside-most bottles on a full rack. It needs about a foot clearance from walls on both sides for the doors to fully open.
