You really have to tighten those screws on the bottom. It took me a long time to get them tight I had the same issue at first the screws seem that there are in but then it's all wobbily. I ended up having to use a power drill to get those screws in there.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I put the tv on the bed face down and lifted it up on each side to attach the legs. On leg went in easily but the other one gave me problems. It has to be lined up perfectly. After my wall mount came in I took the legs off and hung it on the wall. :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Did you also line up the tabs on the feet? Also, I found that the screws went in fairly tight for quite a while before they were actually fully tight. Have someone else hold the TV while you tighten the screws, see if that helps you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They only go in one way, but they can be reversed side to side. Are you sure you have them on the correct side? I don't have the 42", but my 48" has the same type of base and is very stable.

They were a bit difficult to put on, it seemed easy upon unwrapping it but it took me an hour to put on. I was urged to return it but I kept trying until finally the legs fell into place, you have to keep on screwing the screw as hard as you can w/o stripping it and have someone else just hold the leg in place so it doesn't move as your screwing it in; and when you feel the screw finally grabbing on to the plastic, is when it is secured. Hope my experience helps.. Good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I agree that a central base is probably more stable, but I think the problem you are having is that the feet are not properly set in the bottom of the TV. I suggest that you have the TV lying on its side and partially back off on the screws. Pivot the feet until you feel them set into place. The feet shouldn't pivot one way or the other. Then you can tighten the screws.
