The yellow Energy Guide tag is shown in one of the product images. I don't know exactly what the definition of "energy efficient" is, but this product probably does not qualify. It does not look like it's ENERGY STAR Certified. The estimate is that it will cost a little over $2 per month to run, and it shows that to be on the high end for other similar products.
