Read the instructions first! Before plugging in let it sit in place for 3 hours-because you never know if the delivery team tipped it when taking off the truck. Then check your 3 prong outlet to make sure it’s working (I use a plug in fan to check). Also make sure you don’t have a light switch that can turn that outlet on/off -if you do that could be your problem. Then put the off/cold/colder/coldest knob to the cold position-then plug it in. Wait 5 minutes….if the blue light at the dial dies not come on you may have a problem and need to do a return exchange. Again, read the directions do you understand what happens when you force the unit off/on and how it resets. I absolutely love mine!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When we plugged ours in, the little blue light in the bottom right of the front panel turned on immediately. We checked the outlet before plugging it in though since it was dusty in the garage.
