A:AnswerAh, interesting question - No MIN is warmest temperature, or least amount of cooling. Minimum cooling. Would have never thought of it the way you did!
A:AnswerI thought about doing this myself at first but then changed my mind because outside temperatures fluctuate too much where I live. Also it not recommended to do so on the packaging. However it really doesn't take up much space. You may have to rearrange a few things but it most likely would fit. They also offer a smaller size the 3.5 cubic ft. Might be a better option for you.
A:AnswerNo, the instructions tell you not to set anything on the unit or around it. You must leave 6” clearance all the way around. The freezer will always be turning off-on regulating itself. That is normal operation. If you block it you will be making it run harder and can cause it to burnout or worse catch fire. Keep the area around it clean and vacuum underneath once a year just like a refrigerator.
A:AnswerOne bag 5 cubic feet bag; or two bags of 2.5 cubic feet bags, or five 1 cubic feet bags of ice. You get the idea. It really does depend on how big your bags are. You should be able to fit about 5-6 20lbs bags.
A:AnswerYou should wait at least 4 hours if you have transported the freezer upright before starting the compressor. If you have the freezer laying down while transporting, the wait time is 24 hours.
