A:AnswerI have the same issue. Don't bother reaching out to insignia as they have no clue either. It took them 4 months to finally suggest I return it for a new unit.
BTW, I highly doubt they're perlick faucets.
A:AnswerI would say yes but it won't work well at all. The kegerator already struggles to keep the beer really cold so being outside won't help. It is all all black it will absorb alot of heat. The tower will also be to warm and your beer will foam a lot when you pour it. You can fix that by buying a keg tower fan cooler. So in summary, I wouldn't do it. I think you would be fine to wheel it out for parties but it ultimately should be stored inside.
A:AnswerIt is too high for a standard counter to recess it under. It is also not designed to fit in tight spaces, meaning it won't cool efficiently. You will shorten the life of the compressor by doing that.
The co2 can fit inside or outside. They have a bracket for both options. If it is on the back it won't sit flush against the wall though
A:AnswerUnfortunately this is a freestanding unit. It vents out the back, and has a bracket to optionally mount the Co2 tank externally.
It needs a minimum of 3 inches per side and 4 inches in back. There are units designed to be "built in", but they are more expensive.
A:AnswerI had this issue when I first began tuning the unit. Most online guides and even the directions suggest pushing something like 8-10psi into the keg. For me, the result was always a TON of foam and very little beer. I think it has to do with the diameter and length of the beer lines. I solved my problem by setting my PSI in the 3-5psi range. I’ve had heavy stouts all the way to light beers in it and they never went flat and poured very well for me. I included a pic of a medium bodied ale poured at about 4-5psi. Perfect
A:AnswerNope def not perlick. Aside from having to buy a tower cooler for this kegerator, you'll want to upgrade to forward sealing faucets. These faucets are really bad. If your not pouring at least one draft per day the stock faucets will stick. After a week of not pouring a draft I could not break the tap loose. Just bought perlick 630ss
A:AnswerSure - I’m going to do the same thing. You’ll need to screw the tower into the countertop and use some insulating pipe wrap between the top of the fridge and the tower to keep the lines cool and prevent the refrigerated air from leaking out.
A:AnswerYou should be able to easily drill an additional hole in the center just below the 2 taps and use the included tower. There is room inside the tower to allow an additional delivery hose. Good luck!
A:AnswerYou get one CO2 regulator with a gauge for the output pressure only. You can add a high pressure gauge if you would like but in my opinion it's not all that helpful since it will sit around 800 psi until it's pretty much empty then drop suddenly.
A:AnswerIt will fit two Miller/coors 1/4 keg skinnies. The warning it has is against the rubberized Miller/coors short 1/4 or 1/2 barrel kegs. I currently have a 1/4 barrel Miller and 1/4 barrel blue moon (also distributed by Miller/coors) in mine.
A:AnswerAlthough it is not designed for this, you can disconnect the tower and mount it somewhere else with the provided screws. This would expose your lines meaning you would have to insulate them and also cool them to do this. as for the kegerator, i don't think it would do well in vegas outside. My kegerator can barely produce ice cold beer in my basement let alone 100 degree weather.
