“Does anyone on here live in FLorida and have this freezer in your garage? Does it run ok or more than normal? I keep hearing it is too hot to keep a freezer in the garage? Thanks,”

I live in Jacksonville and just put mine in the garage yesterday. Frigidaire makes this freezer, and they specify that their same model not be placed in an environment that exceeds 110 degrees F. Hope this helps.

Please try again later.upstate NY customer- i put freezer in my uninsulated garage. for the cooler temps it runs fine(hardly notice its running when i check on it). we had a couple days with near 60degrees F outside and i adjusted the freezer knob down two clicks to keep the inside freezer temperature the same -20 degree on thermometer (which i picked up separately) as this unit does not have its own guage. i got to say after reading reviews from others on how noisy this unit is , i was surprised the freezer is quiet compared to my dishwasher which is 56db. only had this unit for two months- will update post once the warm temps hit NYS.
