How does it defrost null

the device goes in to fan only mode until the white ice disappear

It seems to stop the compressor but engage the fan. If there is a heating element, it is not apparent while in defrost mode at my house.

This dehumidifier works good and I haven't seen it have to defrost, however, if it has it did it with no help from me. I'm very pleased with it's performance.
