My remote does not have a headphones jack. I don't know if the other remote will work. I use Bluetooth headphones. The television does not have a Bluetooth transmitter, so I bought one from Best Buy. The transmitter has three ways of connecting to the television. Both the transmitter and headphones must use the correct codec -- aptX Low Latency. aptX alone will not work properly. Dialogue will not be synchronized with speakers' lips. The people at Best Buy should be able to help you pick out the proper equipment.
