However, this service may depend on specific promotions, regional policies, and whether you've selected that option at checkout. • Questionwhat does garage ready mean

    Asked by bonnj.

    • Answer “Garage ready” means that the freezer is designed to operate efficiently in a wide range of external temperatures, typically from 0°F to 110°F. This makes it suitable for use in environments like garages, which can experience extreme temperature fluctuations2. In essence, a garage-ready freezer can maintain optimal internal temperatures regardless of the external conditions, ensuring your food stays properly frozen even in uninsulated or non-climate-controlled spaces. • QuestionWhich shelf is the fixed non-removable one? I want to store a 25" soda keg.

    Asked by Sunny2.

    • Answer In the Insignia™ 7 Cu. Ft. Garage Ready Upright Convertible Freezer, the fixed non-removable shelf is typically the middle shelf. This shelf is designed to provide structural support and cannot be adjusted or removed. Given that your soda keg is 25 inches tall, you might need to place it on the bottom section of the freezer, where there is more vertical space available. You can also adjust or remove the other shelves to create enough room for the keg. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. • QuestionCan you use this inside of a food traveler

    Asked by Np.

    • Answer Thank you for your inquiry! The Insignia™ 7 Cu. Ft. Garage Ready Upright Convertible Freezer with ENERGY STAR Certification is designed to be used as a standalone appliance in a garage or home setting. It is not intended for use inside a food traveler or any enclosed, portable space. Using it in such a way could compromise its performance and safety, as the freezer requires proper ventilation and stable placement to function correctly. It's best to use it in a well-ventilated area where it can operate under standard conditions. • QuestionMy top shelf just exploded. I opened the door and boom. So after cleaning for 2 hrs., and one hour of searching online I can’t find where to buy replacements. This question was asked 2 months ago and it hasn’t been answered. Any help?

    Asked by Broken.

    • Answer It looks like the part# for the shelf is 2106100860, I did a quick google and at the time of this posting, I found that 1 site claims to sell it but sadly at part is listed as out of stock. You may want to reach out to this company and see if you can get any luck. Other option we be to look on Amazon for freezer shelfs that are roughly the same size. According to manual, the shelfs are (W × D): 15 3/4 x 15 7/16 in. (39.9 x 39.0 cm). Just make sure you get a "freezer" shelf. Fridge shelfs are not designed to be in freezing temps. Good luck

  • QuestionCan this freezer be transported on it's side.

    Asked by BABK.

    • Answer Thank you for your inquiry! Transporting the Insignia™ 7 Cu. Ft. Garage Ready Upright Convertible Freezer on its side is generally not recommended. Doing so can cause the compressor oil to flow into the cooling lines, potentially leading to cooling issues when the unit is upright again. If you must transport it on its side, ensure you let it stand upright for several hours (typically 24 hours) before plugging it in to allow the oil to settle back into the compressor. This precaution helps to avoid any potential damage and ensures the freezer functions properly after being moved. • QuestionCan you lay it down for shipping?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Hi there! Yes, you can do that. Please note that for new units that were not in the upright position during transportation, it is recommend the customer waits at least six (6) hours after transport before plugging in and using the unit. This is to allow the coolant to properly settle within the appliance. If you need further assistance, feel free to ask. |Angelica| Insignia Products| https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-7-cu-ft-garage-ready-upright-convertible-freezer-with-energy-star-certification-stainless-steel-look/6547488.p?skuId=6547488
