A:AnswerYes, BUT there is a caveat. It will work if you are willing to settle for a max resolution of 720P. The packaging says it supports 1080P but it didn't work with my ElGato CamLink 4k and GoPro Hero 4 Silver.
I had to purchase another cable for it to work at 1080P (which is the max output for a GoPro Hero 4 Silver & Black).
A:AnswerI had the same issue. You need to set some configuration in the Pi config to which HDMI port and resolution you are trying to achieve. This isn't unique to this cable.

This cable is for Micro-HDMI, which is not the same at all as Micro-USB. MY best recommendation would be a Micro-USB to full HDMI adapter, and use a standard HDMI cable to connect it to a TV.
