A:Answer either a faulty power switch, i know the motorolla 1000l you must hold the power button for 4 seconds it does a double flash and thats the off.. if you just cycle the power it will go into H.M,L, SOS, Strobe, also dont forget the new trend in lights is having the housing glow in the dark, .. if it wont turn off twist the back off, so the contact is removed and call your local geek squad, they will just give you a new replacment
