Do not put it in the dishwasher! Warm running water and dish soap (dawn, joy, Palmolive, etc) will do the trick. Make sure to dry throughly with a clean/dry cloth afterwards. It’s a bit of a choir but well worth the effort.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I washed the inner pot with clean hot soapy dishwater, wiped off the exterior cooker with wet dishcloth. My lid arrived correctly assembled and I've not needed to disassemble and reassemble. I do not submerge the lid and use only plain warm water as I don't want to risk not rinsing all the dish detergent off in case it would make the seal ineffective--I think I might be too worried about that. I air dried the lid in the dishrack and then because some water dripped out when I changed the position I left it to dry longer at a different angle.
