• This is NOT an "Instant Pot" but liners, sealing rings, and other Instant Pot accessories, will fit and work with this pressure cooker, I have read online. For the price, I could not pass this up. Hope that helps.

• Essentially yes, an instant pot is a pressure cooker just like this. Instant pot is a brand name. So no, it's a different brand but both pressure cookers
