These are all very loose regardless of who makes them. I’ve had three models from three different manufacturers and all are the same.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is proper. This is the way it is supposed to be. My husband and I had the same concern at first. While cooking it should be pushed towards the back of the pot. Once cooking is complete, lightly tap it towards the front and the steam will release. Once all steam is released, the lid will be able to open.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This confused me as well until I started to cook with it. The rubber stopper seals in the locked position but is very flimsy. It did not emit steam until I started moving to unlocked position so don't be alarmed by the unsteady lock. Its a safety feature in case of too much pressure. I haven't had it fault yet.
