“The silicone cap to the floating valve went down the drain. I can’t find a replacement cap on the internet that is compatible. Any help? I want to warn everybody that another brand would be a better option as replacement parts are not available.”

did you try a replacement from instapot? I have found their liner and o rings fir the insignia 6 qt model so maybe the same holds for the 8 qt?
