I know, we have no Manual button like the Instant Pot. And most recipes say Manual. So I use meat button(s). Chicken - chicken. Meat - I used for a roast and meatballs, etc. Fish - fish Soups and stews, I think this is the chili one as well. So it's just trying to figure it out which button since no Manual button. Check YouTube videos as well, ontop of your instruction manual. Ohh & cookbooks. I suggest The InstantPot Bible. Great for recipes (like fancy ones too with lobster and cuban and italian and some desserts).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Everything cooks at the same temperature. The different presets just set the time for that particular item. To manually set your own choice of time for a pulled pork roast (or anything else), first hit any one of the presets (e.g., Steak/Meat). A certain time pops up. Next, push "Time Cook". Then use the -/+ buttons to adjust the time to how many minutes you want it to cook, once it reaches pressure. Finally, hit the "Start" button. Then enjoy an appropriate beverage, while you wait.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Use it as a slow cooker function and the meat should be as you want it.
