How wide/high is the actual opening for the cables? null

The cable opening 1" wide by 1" deep. It provides plenty of room for the cable, or multiple cables, to pass through. Works well and looks nice.

behind the curved part there is a 1 1/2+ round hole. plenty of room to put both the HDMI cable thru as well as power cord.

Approximately 1 inch on lower part of wall. We also used one in back of TV where wire went through wall mount to make it look neater.
