• You can go Cowboy Studio, Lusiana, or any set that has a hotshoe mount for the camera. I picked up a 8 chanel trigger/receiver set on ebay that only cost $12 and it works excellent.

• I'm not using this flash as a "slave", so I don't know the answer to your question. I'm simply slipping into the Nikon D200 hotshot and using it on "auto" function. I can also put it on my camera bracket as an off camera speedlight, assuming my D200 has a sync cord. Sorry I can't be of more help.
