QuestionOk to leave controllers on for a long time?Some chargers can ruin the battery over time because they continue charging even when the battery is fully charged. Is that the case with this one? In other words, if you leave the controller on the stand for a long time after it is fully charged, does it affect the battery life? Or is it designed to stop charging once it is fully charged?

- Answer This unit is designed to stop charging once the controller is fully charged and the indicator light on the base goes off.

QuestionDoes this charger charge the controller through the back port (where the mic is plugged in)? because I need a charger like that cause the charger port on front for my controller is broken.

- Answer No, it uses the same port, only it has an adapter that you plug into the port that sits nicely on the charger.

- Answer Yes it does. It's prone to slip off sometimes while playing but it is very easy to remove and replace when charging.

- Answer Yes, it's a stand alone charger and plugs into the wall so you can use your charging ports on the system for whatever else you choose to.

- Answer We thought we'd lost one as well (it was under the couch). I emailed the Insignia folks before we located it, and they told me that they do not sell the dongles separately at this time. It would be nice if they did, because they are small and easy enough to misplace.
