QuestionCharging timesJust bought the Insignia Flex 10.1 32gb model less than 2 weeks ago, it seems like it takes FOREVER to charge, have others had the same problem or is it just mine, for comparison how long should it take to fully charge when I let the battery run down to 10-15%, mine seems to take at least 7 hours or longer.

- Answer Yes. I don't use it for security reasons, so I don't know how well it works. This tablet seems to disconnect from wifi frequently, so Bluetooth may do that too. It's bottom of the barrel electronics. Works, but not great.

QuestionDoes the Insignia Flex 10.1 come with a screen protector, the plastic strip you place on top of the glass, or does it just have a piece of plastic over the screen meant to be peeled off before using?

- Answer Yes, you can setup restricted accounts. That is why we got this device. all of the control is managed from the primary account, so you have to setup the program access before switching it to your kids profile.

- Answer Best Buy has a 30 day return policy, unless the unit is damaged in any way. Insignia (owned by Best Buy) site says they have a 1 year warranty, but not if there is any damage. In other words, you may not want to use it if you think you may need to return it.

QuestionI am looking for a tablet that I can put an SD card in to watch a movie. How does this compare to the ACER 10.1 tablet in that regards. I will be using headphones so the sound is not an issue just mainly concerned about the resolution and the quality.

QuestionCan this tablet be used as a gps without a data plan or wi-fi just like a handheld gps? I am looking for a dual purpose tablet for use in my classroom and to use outside for locating geocaches on school campus. We do not have wi-fi. Thank you.

- Answer The representative for Insignia is wrong. You CAN use GPS offline, But there is a catch. You must use an offline map. Google Maps will allow you to download maps up to a certain size. I used Hear Maps from the Google play the entire U.S.A. download was 5GB. It works fine but a 10 inch tablet in window is too big for me. I tried to set it on the seat but GPS reception was poor.
