- Answer I installed this camera on a ford explorer, and a chevy suburban, I had plenty of cord to go from mirror, across the top to the edge of window down below the glove box and back to cigarette lighter under the radio with cord to spare. I serious dont think you will have trouble with the cord length.

- Answer Yes, it comes with a mounting disk. Easy to put on the windshield, however use caution, once it is applied it is hard to get off.

- Answer All the PIP mode is simply to display the view in front and the rear of the vehicle. It is not designed on that particular mode for playback.

- Answer Mine failed after about 2 years in the Southern California sun. So far Insignia doesn't seem to offer a replacement suction cup, so you're on your own after that.

- Answer It's because you have PIP mode activated. If you want to deactivate that mode you have to go into the main menu go to PIP and select off.

QuestionCan you take this camera off the windshield for storage when not using it, and then re-attach it when I need/want it later?

- Answer The suction cup windshield mount has a sticky film on it to better attach to the windshield without falling off, however, this makes it difficult to remove the mount. The camera does easily disconnect from the mount for storage purposes.

QuestionMy camera constantly falls off the windshield. Are replacement mounts available?

- Answer Fortunately with this model, I have not had that happen. But with other devices I have had that happen. What I simply do is breathe on it by opening my mouth and getting the moisture on the suction cup then placing it and clamping it down. I have never had a problem doing that with the unit.

QuestionNone of the files can be viewed on my PC after it has shut down when I stop. It appears to be recording properly. All the files before stopping are fine. Both times I have inserted an empty 64 gb card into the camera the night before. What is wrong?

- Answer After I bought mine and about a mile down the road it shut down so I pulled over turn the car off, turned it back on and it came back on and then again it shut off so I just turned around went back to BEST BUY and the INSTALLER did something and it has worked fine ever sense
