Questionunit shuts off after a minute when I turn the car off. Is attached to a constant power stream. Is there a way it can stay on? Or auto-on starting the vehicle? Also does this unit have a battery? It doesn't want to charge on laptop. Thanks.

- Answer It draws a lot of power, so it shuts down as a precaution so it doesn't drain your battery.

QuestionHow do you set the loop to off? I see 1,3 and 5 minutes, but no “off” setting

- Answer It just keeps recording over itself unless there is an incident. There is a G shock censer is what saves that section of video if an accident does happen so it won’t record over that section. But there is no way to turn the loop off

- Answer It does not use a USB port. It has a cig lighter plug which you can cut off to wire it directly to your car's 12vdc power from any source.

- Answer USB is 5vdc. The camera requires 12vdc from the cig lighter plug or a direct wire to the battery.
