Q: QuestionWill this work to transmit 1080 or 1440p signal at 120hz passthrough? Since the new Xbox Series X doesn't have an optical, this could be a solution to those of us using high end home theaters with optical or mixers in studio with optical.

Q: QuestionI want to take audio from my new Sony Bravia 43" tv and run it into a pair of powered speakers I like. Will this device be compatible with that tv, using the ARC HDMI connecter on the tv and connecting the HDMI cable's other end to this device? Thnx!

Q: Questioni'm running HDMI ARC through my Sony receiver to my Visio 70" TV. I need to connect headphones for my wife who has a hearing disability, but also need to have the Dolby 5.1 speaker system running at the same time. DOES ARC still function w/headphones ?

Q: QuestionI want to extract sound FROM my TV, TO my surround sound system. Surround sound only has RCA input. TV has HDMI w/ ARC. Can this extract the TV's audio output via the ARC HDMI? Can the HDMI OUT on this extractor go unused?

• A:Answer This is only stereo so you can’t get surround from it. It needs to be in line from the tv input to the tv so you can’t get audio from streaming like Netflix. There are ARC enabled extractors that might work for you. I just got an optical converter since I only need stereo I still need a separate remote for audio this way.

Q: QuestionWe have Sony WH-CH700N headphones and an LG SH3K Sound bar connected via an optical cable. Every time I connect the headphones via a Bluetooth transmitter it shuts down the Sound bar. This defeats the purpose. How about an optical cable splitter?

Q: QuestionCould not go box into soundbar with rca cables.Went box hdmi into tv hdmi.Then went rca tv into bar.After went bar optical into cable box.I used rca out cables to dvd out of çonverter and. hdmi cable box to soundbar out. Should still be 2.2 bypass. 4k?
