A:AnswerMy experience is that it won’t expand your sound capabilities but will allow you to make use of all capabilities of your sound source and connected speakers. For example, my first attempt was connecting an iPad to computer speakers and got what you’d expect out of the speakers when volume was all the way up on iPad and speakers it wasn’t impressive. Next I connected the same iPad to our auditorium sound system and was nearly deafened by the sound at the lowest settings.
