A:AnswerI bought an extractor from Amazon and it didn't work at all. Found this one at my local best buy and it works exactly as it should. Any hdmi should work. My surround system only works with an optical cable. I had issues at first, but found i had to switch the tv audio settings to 7.1 channel surround. Works perfect with no issues at all.
