- Answer You need a Converter Box to extract the audio. Most TVs only have HDMI inputs (not outputs).

QuestionI have the audio extractor hooked up properly with my chromecast the imagine shows up and disappears right away. Over and over again. I plugged the chromecast into the tv it works just fine but not with the audio extractor. Any ideas?

- Answer As with most electronics this unit is not hardened for the elements. You can use it inside or out. Feed it HDMI with audio and the required DC volts, keep it dry, and don't bake it in the sun. Also DC power is much safer outside. You know as soon as you walk systems outside it's going to rain...

If you need to show the same signal on 2 monitors, you can hook up an HDMI Splitter like the model RF-G1603 into the HDMI OUT on this Audio Extractor, then your monitors to the Splitter.
