“Does this feature mic monitoring? When plugging in an over-the-ear headset does this give you the ability to hear your own voice through the headphones? This is a big problem with my current headset.”

No, this device does not add mic monitoring to a headset that does not already have it. This simply allows you to control your volume level/muting without having to toggle through menus.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The reason that happens is you are playing with a person that is not using a headset. But I have not have that problem with this product. But honestly I play destiny all the time and talk to others and NeVER use this product so save your money
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It may be your specific headset that does that because when I use mine directly with the PS4 controller I don't hear myself. When I use the Insignia adapter I still don't hear myself. Try testing out a different headset and see if it still happens.
