“I have the Insignia Model NS-RTM18SS7 fridge and purchased the Insignia ice maker NS-IMK20WH7 and the wire terminal that connects to the top of the inside of the freezer does not fit. Am I missing something, do I need to remove a cap from the freezer?”

Use needle nose pliers or a flat blade screwdriver to remove the terminal cover located at the top of the freezer by first pulling down one side of the cover, then pulling down the other side.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ours had a plastic “blank” or cap inserted into the ice maker connector in the back of the freezer. Once I removed the plastic piece, I was able to plug the ice maker into the freezer connector.
