Please try again later.So, the answer is that it is not a universal remove that can control a TV natively but can be used with the IR Blaster functionality of the Xbox One (Kinect or separate IR blaster) to control other devices. You can also plug your cablebox into the Xbox One via HDMI to have full integration with remote/voice control (if you have Kinect). This is what the volume and channel buttons are for on the Insignia remote.
