    • Answer I didn't even think about whether this would work on my TV or not, because it is a Hisense "Roku" TV. It worked perfectly right out of the box and it does turn the TV off and on and it also will control the volume. It will not control the actual TV channels, though, if you have cable. I hope that helps.
