• yes. You will need the 15' coax cable to connect t to your tv. If not, you may chose a long RCA cable.

• Yes that is how we got it to work. There is a setting on the modulator too that you can choose either channel 3 or 4 on the TV for this to work. Feed the vga cables from the vcr to the modulator then the coaxial cable from the modulator to the tv.
