QuestionIs this stereo sound or mono? What is the sound quality?

- Answer A moment after you stop on an HD station, the word "Stereo" appears on the screen and you hear the sound get wide (from mono). A moment later (if the Antenna is in the right position) the standard FM "fissing" backround hiss disappears and the icon for HD appears on the screen. The 2nd and 3rd audio tracks can how be heard by pressing "Seek+" key.

QuestionIf I power on the radio with both batteries and the AC adapter, I get the message "Battery Power Shortage". The radio politely displays "Good Bye" and turns off.
