“My laptop is 100-240v but it has a 3 pronged plug. If I bring along my own american 3 prong to 2 prong adapter for it will I just need to plug that into just the adapter? Is there any danger of burning out my laptop?”

As long as your laptop charger is rated for higher voltages like 220v it should work and you should be able to use this product just as an adapter and not to convert the voltage, before using it please check the specifications of the laptop and if you have more questions please give us a call at 1-877-467-4289.
