A:AnswerThis antenna worked in one location. I got a decent amount of channels. I brought it to another location and could only get a few channels and they cut in and out. I suggest buying a better antenna.
A:AnswerThe antenna can pick up electrical static that can interfere with the reception. I do not know how far away it would need to be but you could plug it in and see how the signal is. I put mine up as high as possible for best reception. Put above my kitchen cabinets. You could even hide it inside a cabinet as long as there is not alot of metal around it to block the signal.
A:AnswerYes, I plugged this in via the cable outlet in my tv. It's separate from the HDMI ports that the cable/satellite use. Just use the different source option on the tv.
A:AnswerThis antenna can get local channels if the signal is strong in your area.

A:AnswerThis antenna has a small range and will pick up local channels broadcasting within that range. It’s like 20 miles or less. If you have local Spanish language channels within that range you should recieve them.
A:AnswerNo this ia separate from your dish which is input thru HDMI port. ThIS antenna attaches to your TV at the coaxial port with input set as TV. Dish recorder does not interact with this. Also dish has local channels which antennae is also receiving.
