“Is this compatible with the newest update for Mac's, Mojave 10.14.5?? Also, are there any limits on the size CF disks? (for example, will it work on a 128 GB CF disk?) Thanks!”

The software is on your COMPUTER not this device. So if your computer and it's software (in your case Mojave) support the device you'll be fine. Feel free to call an Apple Genius but I think you should be OK as I'm running this on a Mac.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It worked fine with my (ancient) Compact Flash cards (2GB and 4GB) with my MacBook Pro (2013 model, but up to date with latest MacOS.) My existing Compact Flash devices are limited to 8GB, and I'd rather avoid CF in the future so I'm not concerned about 128GB cards.
