A:AnswerI'm unsure if this will work with the Nintendo Switch. Previously, I used the original USB and later upgraded to the USB 2.0 version of the Insignia adapter with my Wii. Best guess, yes it should work if the Nintendo Switch has a standard USB 3.0 USB port. There are no unique drivers associated with this adapter.
A:AnswerI use this item and never installed any software on my mac. Turn off the firewall then do the test. Make sure you are using the usb 2 or usb 3 adapter or speed will top out around 100.
A:AnswerAnswering your question is NO to both.
It only works out of the router or modem/router (if ithas the ethernet conn).
It works excellent on android 8.0 and above.
A:AnswerI believe that as long as you have a USB port to plug it into, it's usable. Just make sure to download the drivers to your computer so it can communicate with your system properly
A:AnswerI am using the USB 3 <--> Ethernet adapter quite successfully on an HP Envy laptop with Windows 10. You might want to explain more about the configuration that you've set up. Where have you connected each end of the adapter and what were those devices originally meant to be connected to? For example, I would not expect this adapter to perform correctly if I attached the ethernet port to my camera and the USB 3 plug to my computer. I imagine those two things were just never meant to work together that way. Maybe, you need a router between the camera and the computer.
A:AnswerI had a similar thing happen to me too. I have a MacBook Pro and it did the same thing and ruined my expensive laptop. I had to talk with apple support and had help with them to finally get internet recovery and reinstall os high Sierra all over again. Either there’s a glitch with the Macs or the High Sierra update that doesn’t make it work. I’m returning the item since it almost broke my new MacBook Pro.
A:AnswerNo, your tv will only connect to the network with wireless apparently. It will not share that connection. These adapters are basically made for computers only.
A:AnswerI bought mine when LAN port on my mother board went out. This has been a great, easy to use alternative. I have had no issues with connection speed, lag, or reliability.
