• Yes. There were more options when the USB port is 3.0. 2.0 ports only show a couple of options for resolution.

• Only worked at 1360x768 with Win7 SP1, HP8640P laptop, USB 3.0, Dell S2330MX 23 in monitor. Couldn't find any way to use 1920x1080 resolution.

• Yes, I use it with an older HP monitor at 1280x1024 (?)... must be connected to USB 3.0 port for full res.
