Q: QuestionI have a docking station with one vga port, but I need two to plug in both my external monitors (both have vga ports) There is a usb port - can I use this adapter to plug in that second monitor to the docking station? Thanks!

• A:Answer Depending on the docking station I would think you could connect it. I would think it would also depend what the docking station is being connected to, however. In the past I had connected a VGA monitor to a dell docking station but had issues with the USB-C connection on laptop - so now I use the adapter to connect VGA cable directly to laptops USB 3.0 port and have had no issues

• A:Answer I am not sure if this works for mac os. I'm not a computer savvy but I can tell you that this works on my Dell. It's easy to install with program. I did mention my concerns with a sales associate, he assured me that if the product did not work it can be returned. The associate did mention there a several individuals that are customizing their home computer for work.

Q: QuestionDoes this also allow for audio? I want to hook a surface pro up to a projector, the VGA cord that goes to the project has the little audio cable on it. This adapter doesn't look like it has a place for the audio end.
