The HomeKit APP should be set up under one iPhone and then additional users are added through the HomeKit APP of that iPhone. All settings and changes made on the main iPhone will translate to the other users/ iPhones.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need to use the Apple home kit app
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure if I can help but I can operate the garage door with my phone, watch, iPad, HomePod and via CarPlay which is really my phone but I’ve never tried it with another phone. I’m assuming the other phone is a family member my thought is this if you’re trying to set it up on the other phone that tells me that the home app is not shared between both phones like my phone and iPad are shared in other words when I set something up with my phone it automatically Is set up on my iPad so as I don’t have two phones that is probably the problem there probably is a way to set the phones up so the Home app will be in sync that you’re probably need to call Apple and ask them if that’s possible it sounds like it something that would have to be allowed and not just something that would happen by default so ask Apple if there’s a way that two phones can share the home app as it’s not the garage door it’s the home App I hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have no trouble operating the opener with multiple iphones. However, all my devices are using the same iCloud account.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use it on multiple devices (3 iPhones, iPad, and Apple Watch.). The reading the other comments, the no response issue is common for this opener. I have experienced it a few times myself but once I open or close the door with a remote or the button in the garage, it seems to straighten itself out. Just a theory but I feel the issue is with the open close sensor.
