“Will this work with Genie 1028 Garage opener?”

• I believe this will work on your opener, I just installed it on my Genie opener that is about 18 years old and it works great!

• According to Genie Web site, model 1028 uses a standard wall panel with 3 buttons as shown in below image (Lock, Light and Open/Close). There is no Learn button on this wall panel so if your wall panel matches this, it would be compatible.
